What is Stickyboard?

A sticky-note kanban. You get a board with three columns (To do, Doing, Done), and you drag hand-drawn sticky notes between them. No timelines, no labels, no comment threads, just the wall. It is meant to be the simplest way to see what you are working on.

Is it free?

Yes. Stickyboard is free to use on the web, as a Chrome extension, and as a Mac app.

Where can I use it?

On the web at stickyboard.dev, in any browser.
As a Chrome extension that replaces your new-tab page, so your board is the first thing you see in every new tab.
As a Mac app that lives in your menu bar.
Installed on your phone as an app (Add to Home Screen), where it runs full-screen.

How do I sign in?

Enter your email and we send you a one-time code. Type it in and you are in, no password needed. If you would rather log in faster, you can set a password in settings and use that instead. The email-code option always keeps working if you forget it.

I did not get my login code.

Check your spam folder first. Codes arrive within a minute or two; if nothing shows up, request a new one. Still nothing? Email petritavd@gmail.com and I will sort it out.

How do I delete my account?

Email petritavd@gmail.com and I will remove your account and every board on it. See the privacy policy for the details.

Can I have more than one board?

Yes, as many as you like, one per project or area of life. Each board gets its own colour, and you switch between them with the pills at the bottom.

Can I share a board with someone?

Yes. Open a board's menu (the three dots) and choose share / manage access, then invite people by email. Everyone on a shared board sees changes update live. Per-person read-only access is on the roadmap.

Do my boards sync across devices?

Yes. Move a note in one tab and your other tabs, the menu-bar app, and shared boards catch up within a second. You do not have to refresh.

Can I draw on a note?

Yes. The pen icon next to + new note opens a full-screen canvas with a pen, eraser, highlighter, shapes, a colour picker, and paper patterns. Sketch something and save it as a note on your board.

What happens to notes I finish?

They sit in the Done column, and after a while they tidy themselves away into history. You can change how long that takes (or turn it off) in settings, and you can reopen the history view any time to find or restore something you finished.

I deleted a note by accident.

Notes you drag to the bin are not gone for good, they sit in a cleanup pile you can pull them back out of. Finished notes live in the history view and can be restored from there too.

Can I change the look?

In settings you can pick a font (handwritten, clean, or marker) and choose whether it applies just to your notes or across the whole app. Each note and board can also have its own colour.

Who can see my boards?

Only you, and anyone you explicitly invite to a board. Your notes are not public and are never used for advertising or to train AI models. The full details are in the privacy policy.

Does it work offline?

The installed app and the Chrome extension keep showing your last loaded board when you are offline, and sync back up when you are connected again.

How do I stop the product-update emails?

Open the app, then account menu → settings → email, and toggle off "product updates". You will still get the essential emails like login codes and board invites.
